It answers the exacting criteria set by Pierre: an amplifier inheriting the pure KALLYSTE DNA applied to the most demanding listening experience imaginable, an even deeper pursuit of absolute background silence, the reserves required to drive the most challenging and delicate headphones with authority, an impedance selector, tube rectification for the power supply (in the tradition of the Defi preamplifier), and tube preamplification—utilizing pentodes, as it should be.
Building upon the engineering foundation of the Defi/Duel trio, Amethyste inaugurates a line that pushes the refusal of compromise even further.
