High-End Munich

Europe’s premier audiophile exhibition has just closed its 2023 edition, and these four days of showcases provided the ideal stage to introduce KALLYSTE’s dedicated headphone amplifier: Amethyste.

A prime 12 m² corner booth, two listening stations, and a static display unit. We deliberately chose an understated presentation, ensuring the instruments themselves commanded the spotlight.

Another deliberate, counter-current choice was the diversity of front ends: one listening station featured high-resolution digital streaming, while the other relied on CD playback—and a storied one at that, as our legendary Technics SL-P 1200 Studio BBC version made the journey.

A welcome opportunity for several professional audio visitors to reconnect with physical gestures they had clearly missed… and an undeniably charismatic attraction throughout the event.

Over the course of these four days, we welcomed reviewers, industry influencers, and international distributors—both invited guests and curious visitors drawn to our space. Their verdict was unanimous: unvarnished, unmistakable enthusiasm.

To top it off, an impromptu visit from the show’s guest of honor, Al Di Meola.

An immensely rewarding show defined by inspiring human connections. The next chapter now unfolds through upcoming reviews, slated for evaluation over the summer and publication this autumn.
