Autumn draws near beneath a sun that still warms the earth; the grape harvest has revealed fruit of remarkable quality—2022 will be a fine vintage.

At KALLYSTE, the core collection has now reached complete maturity, and the harvest is ripening for 2023…

If maturation takes time, it is because our ethos dictates that a creation only emerges when it is unequivocally finished. (Our instruments will therefore never undergo subsequent upgrades; they are brought into being at their absolute zenith.)

Défi, Duel, Quasar, and Albedo One form the foundational core of the KALLYSTE ecosystem, around which dedicated satellites will now begin to orbit, each excelling in its respective, complementary domain.

The first new creation set to emerge in 2023 belongs to the realm of personal headphone listening—an essential approach depending on one’s living space, whether embraced as a primary sanctuary or a complementary alternative, yet invariably an exacting discipline.

As with every KALLYSTE work, the architecture is entirely original, drafted from a blank slate where every technical constraint singular to headphone reproduction was cataloged and solved.

Engineered with our customary refusal of compromise, this amplifier will integrate vacuum-tube stages for both power regulation and preamplification. The marriage of tubes and solid-state transistors represents a synergy often rightfully termed the “royal road”—a signature deeply woven into KALLYSTE’s DNA.

Much like our subsequent project slated for 2024 (…to be unveiled in due course…), this amplifier will embody a versatility designed to dissolve limitations across the vast spectrum of high-end headphones that grace today’s landscape—past, present, and future.

For now, let us draw the curtain on this design phase; we look forward to sharing each milestone of our progress with you.

See you soon on the blog—and wishing you all glorious listening sessions!
